Sephora Introduces “Store to Door” Customer Service Initiative

People want things fast, easy and at as little expense to them as possible, anymore, and Sephora understands that. The beauty product giant has implemented a new service called Store to Door where they will take a customer’s order through an in-store iPod Touch and have it delivered to them at their homes within three days maximum. And they’ll do it for free.

“It’s easy and it just leverages the e-commerce inventory,” says Julie Bornstein, chief marketing and digital officer at Sephora Americas. “[Before] we had the ability to call and place an order for you, but this is an added service.”

The company’s newest initiative only adds to their previously well-executed customer service. Their past efforts to create the perfect shopping experience for customers include complimentary makeup application classes and technology that helps buyers to find the fragrance that best fits them.

Sephora executives estimate that the Store to Door service will cultivate a multimillion dollar result within the first year of its existence. Now that’s service!
