Your prayers have been answered and summer is finally upon us. The never-ending winter skies have finally parted and besides the beachy days and steamy nights, summer also boasts the perfect time to get back into a fitness routine. It’s time to cast off that winter hibernation doldrums and stretch your legs in a jog around the park, take advantage of a outdoor group fitness class, or try your sun salutations on the beach. The only downside of this sunny weather, is that we have one less excuse to skip our workouts. Sadly, we can no longer moan that its too cold out to bundle up and trudge to the gym.

Sometimes after a long day at work, you just can’t drag yourself out of your apartment to workout no matter how beautiful it is outside. Or maybe a ridiculously expensive gym membership just seems like a total bummer. Thankfully, we live in a world where the Internet exists and despite what some say about at-home workouts, online fitness channels can be a godsend when you just can’t get your lazy butt out the door or if you simply want to try something new in your workout. And trust us, some of these trainers are just as badass as those in the gym. We collected some of the most hardcore workout gurus on YouTube so you don’t even have to do the legwork – that’s doesn’t give you an excuse to skip leg-day though!

Don’t let the shorter length fool you into thinking its easy, though. Most people will burn just as many calories during a 20-minute Hiit workout as they would doing 60-minutes of regular cardio. The workouts may be intense but, hey, they get results! Plus, with targeted videos such as HiitReps, HiitBody, and HiitCore will have reaching your personal fitness goals by the end of the summer.

Yoga guru Tara Stiles caters to both newbies and those who’ve been around the mat a few times. If you’re dedicated, she’ll get you Cirque du Soleil contorted in no time! But trust us, Tara has got all abilities covered – even the laziest of us. She even has a workout that doesn’t require getting out of bed!

The “Class FitSugar” is a particularly awesome section of the channel that offers virtual classes in everything from barre workouts to Vinyasa Flow. They’re just as fun and tough as the classes at your gym, but at least now you don’t have to risk embarrassing yourself trying to do Zumba in public.
